Welcome to Post 328!

American Legion Posts welcome Veterans from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble.


St Joseph American Legion Memorial Day Observance Schedule

Everyone is invited to the St Joseph American Legion Memorial Day ceremonies on Monday May 25.  Starting at approximately 8:45 am, Color Guard and Veterans will march from St Joseph Legion, to St Joseph Catholic Church 12 W. Minnesota Street, St Joseph, to attend 9 am observance Mass.  Following Mass (approximately 9:45 am) everyone is invited to proceed to the St Joseph’s Old Cemetery (near the church) for a memorial observance service. Following the Old Cemetery observance everyone is welcome to proceed to the St Joseph Legion for coffee and donuts served by the members of the Post Auxiliary.  At approximately 11:10 am everyone is invited to a memorial observance at St John’s Cemetery, Collegeville and at approximately 11:55 am a memorial service at Yankee Cemetery.  At 12:30 pm there will be complimentary drinks and lunch for only official ceremony participants at the Post.

Monthly Membership meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of every month unless otherwise announced.  All veterans are encouraged to attend.  We welcome new members!

The Post's bar area is open to the public from noon until 1 a.m. daily (an earlier closing will be initiated if the bar is not busy late at night).  Both electronic and paper pull tabs are available during all open hours.
