The St. Joseph American Legion Post 328, named after John Kuebelbeck, a Sergeant in the 362nd Infantry, 91st Division, was chartered on November 5, 1919. It was the first post to be organized and recognized in the first year the National American Legion was chartered by Congress. The post has been a charter post since its inception, reflecting its commitment to service and the Legion's dedication to mentoring youth and sponsoring wholesome programs in communities.
